OUR STORY
Mother Bianca Maria and father Urbano always had a vision, courage, determination and enthusiasm. They married in September 1955 and have lived a full life together ever since, sustained by great love.
In October 1988, we bought La Palazzina in Val d'Orcia and immediately the renovation work began; the villa had been abandoned for over 15 years.
A GREAT ADVENTURE
In July 1989, we began receiving our first guests. We were one of the very first agritourisms in the Val d'Orcia area, practically pioneers in the field of rural hospitality. It immediately proved to be a great success, the Palazzina in Val d'Orcia was mentioned in the best American and European guides. Memorable Renaissance dinners accompanied by live Celtic music or guided tastings of fine wines in the garden.
Since 1990 we have had among our loyal guests Federico Fellini, Giulietta Masina, Vittorio Gassman, Sandra Milo, Massimo Dapporto, Marisa Laurito.
We have had the privilege of hosting, in these fantastic 35 years of our welcoming activities, guests who then became friends and who, each time they returned, told us "every time is like coming home". For us, the best compliment we could receive.
The story continues with the same enthusiasm as then. For us, and for our children, sharing the house with "new friends" is still a source of great satisfaction. We feel a responsibility to ensure that everything goes as our guests wish, aware that a holiday is an important moment in the life of each of us, one that is loaded with expectations and desires that we would never want to be disappointed.
